Adirondack Frostbite News Release
GLENS FALLS, NY -- The Adirondack Frostbite, proud members of the United Hockey League, announced today that the team raised $6,635.52 during last night's auction of the team's special St. Patrick's Day jerseys. That amount has been donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Ronald McDonald House Charities works to better the lives of children and their families around the world by creating and supporting programs that help to improve the health and well-being of children. The three core programs of RMHC - the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile - are focused on helping families in need. The Ronald McDonald House program began in 1974 to provide a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. Since that time, more than 10 million families around the world have benefited from the comfort provided by a Ronald McDonald House.
The Frostbite open a four-game road trip on Friday, visiting the Motor City Mechanics at 7:30 p.m. All of the action can be heard on WCKM 98.5, starting with the pre-game show at 7:10.
Adirondack returns home on Sunday, March 26, hosting the Richmond RiverDogs at 5:15 p.m. on another Family Four Pack Night. Fans can purchase four tickets, four slices of pizza, and foud sodas for just $50. Tickets are available at the Glens Falls Civic Center Box Office, or by calling (518) 798-0202.
