Richmond Roosters News Release
RICHMOND, IN â The Richmond Roosters announced today that the Frontier League will be adding 6 games to all teams schedules for the 2003 season. This means that the Richmond Roosters will have 3 additional home games to play during the 2003 season. The Roosters played 42 home games last year and will start with their 45 home schedule this upcoming season.
This move will not affect the season ticket structure that is already in place. No additional funds will be charged for these 3 extra games.
"We had to plan for this move even though we were not sure that it was going to happen because we had to get ready for next season." Stated Deanna Beaman, General Manager of the Roosters. "We now have it in place and I think it is good for the Roosters, good for the league and good for our fans as they get to see our baseball 3 more times this upcoming season."
Season ticket prices are $295 for Box seats and $210 for Reserved seats and will not change with the schedule being added too.
"We have always wanted to give this saving to our season ticket holders and now it has become clearer that this structure for pricing is now in place and the schedule expanded. We could not say anything until the Frontier League voted, they have and I think it is great for all teams" stated Allen Brady, President of the Roosters. "Our job is tougher now to defend our back to back championships with 6 more games on the schedule, but we are up to the task." Said Brady.
