Friday's game to decide Eastern Conference All-Star coach

Buffalo, N.Y. (February 3, 2004) -- The National Lacrosse League has confirmed that the coach for the Eastern Conference All-Star Team will be decided on Friday, February 6 when the Buffalo Bandits take on the Rochester Knighthawks at the HSBC Arena.

The All-Star coach is selected two weeks prior to the All-Star Game from the first place team in each conference. Buffalo and Rochester are currently tied for first place in the Eastern Conference at 3-2. The NLL All-Star Game is scheduled to be played on Sunday, February 22 at 4:00 PM.

The Bandits also announced today that NLL Commissioner Jim Jennings will make a special guest appearance on the "Wednesday Night Lacrosse Hour" with Randy Mearns on Wednesday, February 4 on WJJL-AM 1440. Jennings will be calling in to the show from New York.

Several members of the Buffalo Bandettes will also be in attendance running various giveaways for fans in attendance during the LAX Hour. The broadcast runs from 7 PM to 8 PM live from the Pearl Street Grill and Brewery. Any interested fans are welcome to attend the broadcast or call in to 716-856-2337 with a comment or question.

The Bandits' next home game is this Friday, February 6, at 7:30 PM vs. the Rochester Knighthawks.
