December 21, 2004 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Cape Cod Frenzy News Release

Dartmouth, MA – The Boston Frenzy is proud to involve the youth of Southeastern Massachusetts in the excitement of professional basketball with the Boston Frenzy Ticket Donation Program. Involving youth groups like the Boyʼs and Girlʼs Club and the YMCA, the program asks local businesses to donate tickets for a night of fun with the Frenzy. Autographs, prizes, contests, and games will await the kids along with the high-octane action of the ABA. The donations of these local businesses are tax deductible. The businesses will receive a Frenzy web site link, four season tickets, Public Address mentions throughout the season, and the thanks of our local youth. The Frenzy are very excited about the positive response theyʼve received from both the youth and business communities in Southeastern New England. If any businesses or youth groups are interested in getting involved with the Frenzy Ticket Donation Program please contact the Frenzy business offi ce at (508) 564-6737.

The Boston Frenzy play their home games at the Tripp Athletic Center on the campus of UMass Dartmouth. Led by head coach and former NBA star Joe "Jellybean" Bryant, the Frenzy take on the best of the ABA all season long right here on Southeastern New England. For more information on the Frenzy and the ABA visit www.bostonfrenzy.com. The Frenzyʼs next home game is January 5th at 7 p.m. against the New Jersey Skycats.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
