ABA Atlanta team under new ownership and management

Atlanta, GA. Quentin and Akilah Townsend, an Atlanta-based husband and wife team, today assumed ownership and management of the Atlanta Vision, an ABA professional basketball team. According to the Townsends, "We are very pleased and proud to be a part of the ABA; basketball is one of our passions - and we are prepared to make this one of the great teams in the ABA."

All practices and home games will be played on the campus of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church at the Samson Center conveniently loated off I-20 - 6400 Woodrow Road, Lithonia, GA 30038. New Birth is one of the largest Mega Churches in the US with over 25,000 members.

The Townsends added, "We have appointed Tony Lenard as our Head Coach and Darrell Hairston as Assistant Coach - and both are ready to put together a very strong competitive squad and catch up with the schedule. We are looking for players - and we would appreciate interested players contacting us immediately."
