Free youth baseball injury seminar is August 30

JOLIET-Calling all youth baseball coaches, parents and players! Join Dr. Bradley Dworsky, from Hinsdale Orthopaedic Associates, and Brian Oudsteyn from ATI Physical Therapy for a FREE youth baseball injury seminar on Sunday, August 30 at 3 p.m. at Silver Cross Field.

Dr. Dworsky, official team physician for the Joliet JackHammers, is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and is fellowship trained in sports medicine. He treats all types of orthopaedic injuries and fractures, and has special interests in the management and treatment of knee, shoulder and sports related injuries. Brian Oudsteyn, ATC, is the official athletic trainer for the Joliet JackHammers and is employed by ATI Physical Therapy, an internationally recognized and locally respected physical rehabilitation provider based in Bolingbrook, IL. Dr. Dworsky and Brian will discuss common youth baseball injuries, prevention and treatment options.

The event will take place at 3:00 p.m. at Silver Cross Field, prior to the 5:05 p.m. Joliet JackHammers game. The seminar is free of charge and all attendants will receive admission to the evening's game, plus refreshments, prizes and a chance to win a family pack of tickets to Six Flags Great America. Additionally, the first 20 respondents to the seminar will enjoy the game from a JackHammer's Suite.
