Free Wave Playoff Tickets With 2010-11 Season Tickets
March 5, 2010 - Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL)
Milwaukee Wave News Release
MILWAUKEE (March 5, 2010) - Get free tickets for the Milwaukee Wave's home playoff game by being among the first to secure your season tickets for the 2010-11 Major Indoor Soccer League season. Milwaukee Wave 2010-11 season tickets go on sale this Sunday, March 7, an hour prior to the Wave's 2 p.m. home game at the U.S. Cellular Arena vs. the Rockford Rampage.
Purchase the discounted "Early Bird" season ticket prices in full before March 20, and for each season ticket you'll get one ticket to the Wave's home playoff contest plus an invitation to an exclusive "Picnic in the Park" with Wave players this summer. The offer is good for existing and new season ticket holders.
"We're excited about this for a couple reasons," said Wave President and CEO Peter Wilt. "First, we think it's a nice way to thank Wave fans for their tremendous support and commitment to the Wave. If we can take care of business at home the next few weeks, the free tickets will be good for the MISL Championship game. Also, we're happy to be ahead of the curve and start selling season tickets earlier than ever. We have made great progress this year, but we need the fans to recommit for next season. I believe the additional incentives and the Wave's winning ways will help bring them back," Wilt said.
The semifinal round is March 26-28 and the single-game championship weekend is April 2-4, and all qualifying teams will get one home game. At 10-6 and in first place with four home games remaining, the Wave are a strong favorite to clinch one of the top three spots and qualify for the postseason.
Full season ticket holders receive a laundry list of benefits that includes:
* NEW Advanced purchase opportunities on select events at the U.S. Cellular Arena, Midwest Airlines Center and Milwaukee Theater
* NEW Discounted parking at the Hyatt garage at the corner of 4th and Kilbourn, courtesy of Isaacs Family Ltd.
* NEW A $25 discount to Wave Summer Soccer Camps in 2011
* Invitation to the Season Ticket Holder preseason party
* Guaranteed seat location
* Concession food vouchers
* Access to the VIP Lounge
* An autographed photo of your favorite Wave player
* Ticket redemption opportunities * School Day Game vouchers
* Merchandise discounts, and much more.
Fans who choose not to pay the full amount by March 20 may put down $100 per ticket toward 2010-11 season tickets and receive 50 percent off a corresponding number of 2010 playoff tickets, plus a souvenir size 1 soccer ball.
Season ticket packages are built for 11 games, with two additional vouchers for School Day games or for bringing friends to regular season games. Individual ticket prices remain unchanged from this season on four of the six seating options available, with full season tickets as low as $195 for the Early Bird Special.
Under the new ownership of Jim Lindenberg, the Wave provided fans with significant upgrades in the 2009-10 season, including concerts by Genesis Rewired and Grammy-nominated Matthew West, the return of the VIP Lounge, the Milwaukee Wave Professional Dance Team and free souvenir game programs. Even ore amenities will be provided in 2010-11.
