
Frazier Signed by Diamondbacks

(Bridgeport, Conn. - June 1, 2015) - Bridgeport Bluefish team officials today announced that pitcher Parker Frazier has had his contract purchased by the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.
"Parker has shown us his best during his time here this season," says Bluefish manager Ricky VanAsselberg. "We will definitely miss him in our starting rotation, and we wish him the best of luck with his new organization."
Frazier appeared in six games for the Bluefish in 2015, collecting a 3-0 record with a 1.80 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 35.0 innings of work. The 26-year-old made his professional debut in 2007 after being drafted right out of high school by the Colorado Rockies in the eighth round of the MLB Amateur Draft. He spent seven seasons with the Rockies, making a brief appearance with Double-A Pensacola of the Southern League (Cincinnati), before joining Double-A Birmingham of the Southern League (Chicago-AL) in 2014.
