Fox Sports 1450 to Present Shane Doan Bobblehead March 9

TUCSON, AZ - The Tucson Roadrunners, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, announced today that Fox Sports 1450 AM - Tucson, the flagship station of Tucson Roadrunners hockey, will be the presenting partner of a Shane Doan Bobblehead giveaway on Saturday, March 9 at Tucson Arena.

The longtime Coyotes legend and 13-year captain, Doan, will be celebrated in the Old Pueblo as the Roadrunners host the Ontario Reign at 7:05 p.m.

"We are very excited to have a Shane Doan Bobblehead giveaway this season and are very thankful to Fox Sports 1450 and iHeartMedia - Tucson for helping us make it happen," said Roadrunners President Bob Hoffman. "We hope fans will come and join us for what should be a great evening celebrating one of the greatest stars in the history of Arizona sports."

Doan's No. 19 jersey will be retired and raised to the rafters later this month on February 24 when the Coyotes host the Winnipeg Jets at Gila River Arena. He is the franchise record holder for games played (1,540), shots (3,945), goals (402), assists (570), points (972), power-play goals (128) and game-winning goals (69). Doan was also an NHL All-Star in 2004 and 2009. He won the King Clancy Memorial Trophy for community service in 2010 and the Mark Messier NHL Leadership Award in 2012.
