
Fox Activated from Injured Reserve

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser has activated forward Dillan Fox from the 21-day injured reserve.
Fox, 25, has played in 39 games for the RiverKings this season amassing 29 points (13G, 16A) so far in the regular season. Prior to being placed on IR, Fox was the second-leading active scorer on the team. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound forward is in his second season with the RiverKings, joining the team last season after finishing up his senior year at SUNY-Plattsburgh.
Additionally, the RiverKings have placed John Schiavo on waivers and released Michael Berens from his three game tryout.
Schiavo, 23, joined the RiverKings after playing 11 games for the Huntsville Havoc before being released. While with the Havoc, Schiavo accrued one goal and six assits. The 5-foot-10, 187-pound forward is in the midst of his second season as a pro after playing last season with both the Macon Mayhem and the ECHL's Missouri Mavericks.
Berens, 23, joined the RiverKings after finishing his season with Northland College. While with Northland College, Berens scored 12 goals and 14 assists over the course of 25 games. The 5-foot-9 170 pound forward is a rookie playing in his first season of professional hockey.
The RiverKings have activated forward Dillan Fox from the 21-day Injured Reserve ahead of the team's game tonight. Fox, 25, has 29 points through 39 games with the RiverKings this season.
