
Four Riversharks Voted into 2011 Atlantic League All Star Game

The Atlantic League has announced the 2011 All Star Lineup for the Patriot and Liberty Divisions, and The Riversharks' John Bale, Toby Hall, Jay Marshall, and Lloyd Turner have all been chosen to represent the Liberty Division in the Atlantic League All Star Game on July 13, 2011.
Bale is a left-handed relief pitcher who holds the longest consecutive scoreless inning streak with 15.1 innings. His current record is 1-0 and he has a 1.93 ERA. Hall is a former Major League catcher who had a 15 game hit streak earlier this season. Marshall is also a left handed relief pitcher, has appeared in the most Riversharks games this season, and is leading the pitching staff with a 1.64 ERA. Turner currently leads the team in batting average and is certainly the most versatile player on the team having played first base, second base, third base, left field, right field, and center field with the Riversharks. "The level of competition in the Atlantic League provides a lot of talented players, and we are proud to be sending so many of our own to the All Star Game. It proves the strength of the Riversharks in the Liberty Division and the league." said Adam Lorber, General Manager of the Riversharks. The 2011 All Star Game is being held at Sovereign Bank Stadium in York, PA on July 13, 2011. The Camden Riversharks in their 11th season of baseball presented by Wawa. They are members of the independent Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. Since 2001, the Riversharks have hosted all of their home games at Campbell's Field, located along Camden's waterfront. The Riversharks are in the middle of a six game homestand from July 5th to July 10th. The team provides a competitive baseball product, while maintaining an affordable family friendly atmosphere.
