2014 #1 and #2 overall picks Jordan Weidner and Jabs Newby, respectively, were both named to the All-Rookie team. Newby showed flashes of brilliance, in his debut game for the Power, the Canadian guard poured in a team-best 27 points. Newby was also a go to perimeter defender for Coach Kyle Julius in the playoff series verses the defending champion Windsor Express.

"For the Power organization, this announcement was a silver lining in a disappointing season riddled with injuries and unfortunate circumstances," stated Power VP of Operations, John Wiggins, "We have always been very confident in assessing and securing talented players that can perform at a high level in this league, and we are proud to see that Omar, Jabs, Marcus, and Jordan are being recognized for their talents and skills. With such a young talented nucleus, and a wiser, more experienced leader in Coach Julius, we are very optimistic in our ability to reach the next level next season."
