Four Mammoth games affected by NLL schedule revision
December 16, 2004 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER â The National Lacrosse League has announced that the Vancouver Ravens have been removed from the 2005 NLL schedule due to their inability to secure a suitable arena lease. The Ravens, who entered the league as an expansion franchise for the 2002 season, had played their home games at General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, for the past three seasons.
A revised version of the 2005 schedule has been released with four Mammoth games being affected by Vancouver's removal. The Mammoth's game on Friday, Jan. 21 at Arizona has been moved to Saturday, April 9, while the team's game originally scheduled for that day at Anaheim will now be played on Saturday, Feb. 26.
Instead of playing at Vancouver on Friday, March 25 the Mammoth will now play at Minnesota on Friday, April 1, and instead of hosting Vancouver on Sunday, April 3, the Mammoth will host Anaheim on that day. Game time remains 7 p.m.
