
Four Houston Dash Players Named to Canadian Women's National Team

HOUSTON - Houston Dash defenders Lindsay Agnew, Allysha Chapman, Sophie Schmidt and forward Nichelle Prince were named to the Canadian Women's National Team for a friendly against England on April 5, the Canadian Soccer Association announced earlier today.
Canada returns to international action after winning bronze at the 2019 Algarve Cup in Portugal. Schmidt scored the first penalty kick for Canada in the decisive penalty shootout against Sweeden in the bronze medal game.
Agnew, Chapman, Schmidt and Prince will return to Houston prior to the Dash's home opener at 5 p.m. on April 14 at BBVA Compass Stadium against Allie Long, Megan Rapinoe and Reign FC.
