Brampton, ON - The Brampton Beast announced today the signing of forward Michael MacIsaac for the 2014-2015 season. In MacIsaac's first year in professional hockey he played 59 games with the Beast finishing the season with 6 goals and 13 assists. His first professional career goal was against the Quad City Mallards during a power play.

"I enjoyed my experience with the organization and the Brampton community last year," said MacIsaac. "I thought we had a good season as a new franchise and I look forward to bringing the cup home to Brampton."

Head Coach Mark DeSantis describes MacIsaac as a 'thorn in the side' for opposing players. MacIsaac became a fan favourite in Brampton with his agitating style of play.

"Mike performed very well in the playoffs and we expect him to have an even greater impact this upcoming season," said Coach DeSantis. "We are very excited to have Mike back in our lineup."

Before MacIsaac joined the Beast, he played at the University of PEI for four years. The Summerside, PEI native is the third player signed with the Beast this off-season, joining returnees Cal Wild and Andrew Darrigo.
