Forward Madison to Honor National Bowling Day in New Promotion

Forward Madison FC is celebrating National Bowling Day this Saturday by offering a special FMFC-branded bowling shirt as part of a ticket package to its game against the Richmond Kickers. The promotion is the latest in a line of off-the-wall ideas Madison's new professional soccer team has used in recent matches, including a team-signed watermelon, a drinking fla-mug-o and a "bro" tank.

Fans from across the country have already taken notice of "Bowl Mingo," calling it absolutely brilliant, incredibly good and "winning the merch game."

Forward Madison Head Coach Daryl Shore, who was recently named the USL League One Coach of the Month for July, pledged to wear the bowling shirt during Saturday's game. The match will kick off Saturday at 7 p.m. at Breese Stevens Field.
