Forward Madison, Just Coffee Team up to Launch Signature Roast

Forward Madison FC and Just Coffee Cooperative are launching a team-branded signature coffee as part of a new partnership between the two organizations, the club announced Wednesday. Forward's fans will have the opportunity to name the coffee, which will become one of Just Coffee's featured roasts.

The new Forward Madison coffee, made with beans grown by farmer co-ops in Honduras and Peru, contains notes of cocoa, citrus and clove. Members of The Flock, FMFC's independent supporters' group, helped pick the blend in a blind tasting. Now, Flamingo fans are being asked to name the coffee by submitting suggestions online.

Just Coffee Cooperative, like Forward Madison, is a local company focused on its surrounding community. Just Coffee is worker-owned, partners with small-scale growers and lists fair trade and environmental stability among its core tenets.

Forward Madison finished fourth in its inaugural USL League One season in 2019, drawing a league-best 4,292 fans per match. The team is revealing the first four players who have re-signed for 2020 during a party at Breese Stevens Field Wednesday evening.
