Forward Madison FC would clinch a spot in the inaugural USL League One playoffs on Friday if it beats FC Tucson on the road (9:30 p.m. CT; ESPN+). The Flamingos sat in dead last after 10 games played, but can now complete a remarkable turnaround if they earn three points in Arizona.

With two matches left to play in the regular season, FMFC needs just one more win to qualify for the League One postseason. Forward can also clinch with a draw this weekend if the Chattanooga Red Wolves fail to win, or with a loss if Chattanooga also lose and South Georgia Tormenta do not win.

USL League One's four-team playoffs will consist of a semifinal round during the weekend of Oct. 11-13, followed by the USL League One Final between Oct. 17-21. Playoff games are single-elimination, and hosted by the team with the better regular season record. If Forward Madison finishes in fourth place, it would travel to take on North Texas SC.

The Flamingos drew huge crowds in their first year, leading the 10-team League One with an average attendance of 4,292. Season tickets are already on sale for 2020.
