Fort Worth Signs Moon

GREENVILLE, S.C., April 6 - The Fort Worth Flyers have signed forward Jamario Moon.

Moon, 6-8, 200, was a seventh round (52nd overall) selection of the Arkansas RimRockers in the 2005 D-League Draft before being waived on November 17, 2005 without playing a game. He has other previous D-League experience, having played with the Mobile Revelers and the Huntsville Flight during various stints from 2001 to 2004. Moon, from Meridian (Miss.) Community College, has averaged 5.1 points and 1.9 rebounds in 56 D-League games.

Moon played in 30 games (three starts) this season for Albany in the Continental Basketball Association, averaging 18.4 points and 6.6 rebounds.

He is expected to be in uniform when the Flyers play at Austin tonight.
