GREENVILLE, S.C., January 19 - The Fort Worth Flyers have acquired guard Aaron Miles from the NBA Development League available player pool and waived center Nick Billings.

A 6-1, 175-pound rookie from Kansas, Miles played in 19 games this season for the Golden State Warriors, averaging 6.2 minutes, 0.8 points and 1.3 assists per game before being waived on January 5. Miles finished his collegiate career as the NCAA's eighth all-time assist leader with 954. His career assist total also ranks as the all-time best in Kansas and Big 12 Conference history. Miles also ranks second all-time in KU history with 264 steals.

Billings played in 12 games with the Flyers, averaging 7.7 minutes, 2.1 points and 1.6 rebounds. In 14 D-league games with both Fort Worth and Fayetteville he has averaged 7.6 minutes, 2.1 points and 1.6 rebounds.

Miles will join the Flyers in time to be in uniform for games Friday and Saturday in Arkansas.
