Bakersfield, CA Mar 16 - The Forth Worth Flyers downed the Bakersfield Jam 106 to 92 in front of 2512 Habitat for Humanity fans. The Jam initially held close to the Flyers with only a three point deficit at the half. The Jam's shooting suffered in the third and fourth quarters.

"We did everything well but shoot the ball," said Coach Jim Harrick. "They are a good team, a hard force to stop. It was our inability to shoot the ball (that cost the game).

The Jam shot 37.6% from the field, while the Flyers shot above 47%. Scooter McFadgon led the team with 22 points, followed closely by Mateen Cleaves with 18. Corey Santee led the Flyers with 29 points. Santee went 11 for 19 and dropped six three pointers.

The Bakersfield Jam raised more than $1910 for the Habitat for Humanity. The Jam auctioned St. Patrick's Day shooting t-shirts during time-outs, quarter breaks and at the half. The shirts were signed and worn before the game by the Jam players. Utah Tabuse and Mateen Cleaves commanded high bids at $350 per shirt.
