Former Vibe Nico Zeglin Signs with Cubs

Former Vibe Nico Zeglin has signed with the Cubs organization on a minor league contract.

Zeglin joined Rocky Mountain during the 2023 season after finishing his collegiate career with Long Beach State. Zeglin made an instant impact with the Vibes. The right hander was a strikeout machine, tossing 39 Ks in just 29.2 innings. Zeglin held a 3.03 ERA for Rocky Mountain and pitched to a 3-0 record in six games started. He also added a Pioneer League Pitcher of the Month award for his performance in August.

Zeglin is the seventh Vibes player and fifth Vibes pitcher to sign with a Major League Baseball organization.
