Former Syracuse Lacrosse Standout Joel White to Attend November 5 Crunch Game

Syracuse, NY (November 1, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that Rochester Knighthawks Joel White and Jordan Hall will be signing autographs at the club's November 5 game against Rochester. The wives and girlfriends of the Syracuse Crunch will also be on hand selling "Love for Lokomotiv" bracelets. Additionally it will be a Riunite Wine Sampling night.

ROCHESTER KNIGHTHAWKS: White and Hall will be signing autographs outside Memorial Hall prior to the start and during the first intermission of Saturday's game.

White won two National Championships with the Orange and was a two-time Tewaaraton finalist. About to play in his first professional season, he was drafted in the second round, 10 overall, in the 2011 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft.

Hall is entering his fifth season in the NLL and second with the Rochester Knighthawks. He was named the winner of the 2011 NLL Sportsmanship Award. Hall was selected first overall in the 2007 NLL Entry Draft by the New York Titans.

The Knighthawks provide fast-paced "no limits lacrosse" with former Syracuse stars Cody Jamieson, Sid Smith, Joel White and Stephen Keogh leading the way. Take the short drive to Rochester to see the team in action on Saturday, December 17th, as the Knighthawks host the Minnesota Swarm at 7:00 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena. LOVE FOR LOKOMOTIV: The wives and girlfriends of the Syracuse Crunch will be selling "Love for Lokomotiv" bracelets this Saturday against Rochester.

Red silicone bracelets debossed with the words "Love for Lokomotiv" will be on sale for $10 at Saturday's game. Bracelets will be available at tables on both levels of the War Memorial as well as at Crunch merchandise stands on Montgomery and State Street.

Love for Lokomotiv is a charity that was created in the wake of the September 7 plane crash that killed 44 people including crew members, hockey personnel, coaches and the players of the KHL's Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. Established by wives and girlfriends in the hockey community 100% of the proceeds will go to the foundation set up to honor the lost KHL team. Visit www.loveforlokomotiv.comfor more information.

RIUNITE WINE SAMPLING: Riunite Wine Sampling Night will be held on Saturday, November 5 when the Crunch take on the Rochester Americans.

Fans 21 and over will have the opportunity to sample Riunite Lambrusco and Riunite D'Oro, America's all-time favorite Italian wine. Sampling will take place beginning at 6:30 p.m. when doors open through the second intermission, outside of Memorial Hall located on the first floor of The Oncenter War Memorial Arena.
