Charleston, WV (November 23, 2009) - The Pittsburgh Pirates announced their 40-man roster for the 2010 season on Friday, November 20. Making the cut was former Power right-hander Ramon Aguero.
Aguero was signed as a non-drafted free agent by Pittsburgh on July 19, 2005 from the Dominican Republic. He played at three different levels in 2009 and posted a 2-4 record, with four saves and a 3.86 ERA in 39 games with West Virginia (Low-A), Lynchburg (High-A) and Altoona (AA). Aguero was also 4-for-4 in his save opportunities - all coming with Altoona.
