Former Panthers Graves, Degroat To Work Out With Xplosion

PITTSBURGH, October 5, 2007 - Former Pitt players Antonio Graves and John DeGroat will participate in the Xplosion's open tryout camp this weekend at Pressley Ridge on Pittsburgh's North Side.

The Xplosion drafted Graves in the sixth round of the 2007 CBA Draft last week, and DeGroat was invited as a free agent.

Graves averaged 9.2ppg in his senior season and shot over 40 percent from beyond the arc in 2006-07. DeGroat played for the Panthers for two seasons, helping the team to NCAA Tournament appearances in each.

This is the second open tryout camp of the 2007-08 season for new head coach Carlos Knox. The Xplosion open the season November 16 against East Kentucky. For more information, log on to www.pittsburghxplosion.com.
