
Young Continues Career in Europe

Minot, ND - October 5, 2007 - Jitim Young (6'2/205) will be playing in Hungary this fall. He has signed on with the new Hungarian Division A team, the MAFC Budapest.
Young was a key-player at Northwestern University and was named to the All-Big Ten Conference First Team in 2004. Since then he has already collected some European experience in Europe, as he played in Belgium and Greece in the 2004-05 season. The last two seasons he spent in the D-League and CBA. Young played for the Skyrockets last year, averaging 13.8ppg, 4.4rpg, and 4.5apg.
After the end of the CBA season, Young headed to the Dominican Republic where he joined the Cupes in their quest for the championship. The Hungarian season begins in the middle of October.
The Skyrockets will begin league play on November 16, 2007 and the first home game will be Friday, November 30th. For more information, please call the Skyrockets office at 839-SLAM.
