Angela Ruggerio who made hockey history with the Tulsa Oilers, now hopes to make a similar impression on Donald Trump.

Ruggerio, the only woman to have a point in a mens professional hockey game in North America, has been selected to appear on the next season of the NBC television show The Apprentice. She got an assist in the third period for the Oilers in a 7-2 win over the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees on January 28, 2005.

Playing for all three U.S. women's Olympic hockey teams, Ruggerio has collected a gold medal (2002), silver medal (1998) and bronze medal (2006).

She was one of 12 Olympians selected for an internet vote to appear on The Apprentice. The network announced Ruggerio won the vote and will appear on the next season of the show where candidates vie in a teamwork setting to earn a job with Donald Trump enterprises. The season featuring Ruggerio will begin airing on NBC in January 2007.

Oiler season tickets for the 2006-07 season are now on sale. The prices are the same as the 2005-06 season, ranging from $300 to $475. The Oilers have also instituted an automatic payment plan to make purchasing season tickets even easier and more convenient. Also new this year is a 10 game flex pack.
