
Former ODU star to drive the Express

Madison, NJ - The Jersey Express have signed former Old Dominion University star point guard, Isaiah Hunter out of Charlotte, NC.
Hunter, a 6'2" guard, born in Queens, NY played college basketball for ODU form 2002-2006, where he was a second team All-CAA and All tournament selection. He also ranked 11th in the CAA in scoring and three point field goal percentages and 10th in free throw percentage.
In his senior year, he was the teams leading scorer, and scored a career high 29 points in the NIT quarterfinal game at Hofstra University, and also poured in 28 in the NIT game vs. Colorado.
Isaiah completed his college career with 1,425 points, which ranks him 15th on ODU's all-time list.
"Isaiah is one of the most talented point guards that we've ever signed. He is truly a floor general, with great court vision, and the ability to score. He's the complete package. Isaiah will attract a lot of attention, with Coach Reynolds style of play. We believe Isaiah will be our first NBA call up; stated team President, Marsha Blount.
Opening night for the Express is Saturday, November 15th @ 7pm, when the Express take on division rival Westchester Phantoms. Tickets are available on line or at the box office on game day.
