ABA announces pre-season power rankings

Atlanta, GA. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today released its pre-season Power Rankings, a listing of the top 24 teams for the upcoming season.

"This has been a very difficult process," stated ABA President Quentin Townsend. "It is really hard to know which teams are truly the strongest because there are so many new teams and so many new players on the returning teams. But, we looked at a variety of factors, put them all together, got out our trusty dart board, and this is what we came up with. We will watch the upcoming exhibition games and pre-season tournaments and make adjustments every week."
