A team composed of former N.B.A. players and outstanding amateurs will play against the Albany Patroons on Monday, March 6th at 7:00 p.m.

The SPORTSPOWER USA team coached by former Albany Patroons stand-outs David Magley and Lowes Moore will compete against the Patroons as a part of an event called GOD AND COUNTRY NIGHT at the Washington Avenue Armory at which veterans will be honored and a positive message of hope will be presented to young people.

The SPORTSPOWER team includes former Boston Celtic Dana Barros who once scored 50 points in an N.B.A. game, and former N.B.A. players David Rivers, Dave Jamerson and David Wood.

A special pre-game ceremony including a Video Salute by former N.B.A. superstar David Robinson will honor those who have served our country in uniform and Albany County Mike Breslin will speak on behalf of veterans at half-time.

An exciting half-time show will feature an exhibition of trick ball-handling and inspirational talks by members of SPORTSPOWER.

All veterans attending the game with a Veterans I.D. will be admitted for HALF-PRICE and those returning from service in Iraq or Afghanistan will be admitted FREE OF CHARGE.
