
Former Loper Re-joins Diesel

Kearney, Nebraska-The Tri-City Diesel is proud to announce the addition of Brett Wetton, a 6'8" - 340 lb. Offensive Lineman from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Wetton rejoins the Diesel after spending last year with the Omaha Beef. While at UNK Brett was a 4-time letter winner in football and a 2-time Track & Field All-American in the weight throw and hammer throw. During the 2002 season Wetton started in all of the Tri-City Diesel games at Right Guard. While with the Omaha Beef Brett also played Right Guard in all 16 of the Beef's games. In both the 2002 and 2003 seasons Brett was selected to the All-Pacific Conference Team as an Offensive Lineman.
The Diesel will be open up at home tomorrow, March 26th at 7:30 pm versus the Wyoming Cavalry. For ticket information please call the Tri-City Arena Box Office at 308-338-8011.
