
Former HiTom Wojciechowski to Make MLB Debut

The HiToms are proud to announce Asher Wojciechowski has been promoted to the Houston Astros! Asher will pitch this afternoon at 2:10pm, against the Cleveland Indians. Wojciechowski is from Hardeeville, South Carolina, and spent his college years at the Citadel.
In five minor league seasons, Asher compiled a 35-26 Win/Loss record, with a 3.75 ERA in 515.1 Innings Pitched. He started 89 of the 97 games he pitched in, racking up 407 strikeouts, to 143 walks.
Asher was a part of the High-Point Thomasville HiToms in 2009, making one start before joining Team USA. He was drafted in the First Round, 41st overall by the Toronto Blue Jays in 2010, then joined the Houston Astros organization in 2012.
We want to wish Asher the best of luck this season, as he is the SEVENTH former HiTom to be on a Major League roster!
