Former Chicago, St. Louis Legends Take over the Corn Crib July 16th

NORMAL, Ill. - On Saturday, July 16th the Corn Crib, presented by Illinois Corn Farmers, will be host to a special baseball game between former Chicago and St. Louis legends. The game will start at 6:35 p.m. with box seat tickets for $15 and $10 for reserved bleachers with backs tickets.
Former Chicago Cubs legends Fergie Jenkins and Bill Buckner and former St. Louis Cardinals closer Lee Smith are all confirmed for the game. Other announcements with additional former Chicago and St. Louis legends and game details will be announced shortly.
"We are excited to host such a wonderful event where the fans will have the opportunity to meet some of their favorite Cardinals and Cubs players from the recent and distant past," said CornBelters President/General Manager Steve Malliet. "It will be an exciting weekend having these legends come to town."
Current 2016 season tickets holders can call their CornBelters ticket representative starting today to purchase tickets. All tickets for the general public will go on sale starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 12th. Tickets can be purchased online at www.normalbaseball.com, by calling (309) 454-2255 (BALL) or stopping by The Mid-Illini Credit Union Box Office at The Corn Crib during normal business hours.
The first 1000 fans that purchase tickets for the game will get access to a special autograph session with the legends starting at 5 p.m. on the 16th. This is limited to only the first 1000 people.
"I encourage all fans to get their tickets as soon as possible. You really want to be one of the first 1000 before it's too late," said Malliet. "Get them early to make sure to get some autographs from some great Cubs and Cardinals legends."
