SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (August 20, 2015) - Today, Arizona United SC announced it had acquired forward Schillo Tshuma on loan from Major League Soccer. Tshuma had been loaned out to United last season, a 17-match stint.

"We are very excited to have Schillo join our club for the remainder of the year," said Arizona United SC head coach Michael Dellorusso. "He was a valuable member of our organization last year and we look forward to what he will bring to us both on and off the field."

Tshuma was drafted 17th overall in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft by the Portland Timbers. In his first professional season, he was briefly loaned out to Orange County Blues FC (two matches) before being loaned out again to Arizona United SC. He appeared in 17 matches, starting 15 of them. He notched one assist in that time.

"It feels good seeing some of the familiar faces from last year," Tshuma said. "Hopefully I can contribute to the team over the last few games and get some much-needed points. It's great to be back."

This season, Tshuma has played with Portland Timbers FC 2. He's appeared in ten matches for the club, starting in six of them while collecting an assist. Per club and league policies, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
