Forge FC Draws Cruz Azul in 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League

Forge FC drew Mexican club Cruz Azul in the Round of 16 for the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League (SCCL) during the tournament's official draw Wednesday night. Forge is the first club to represent the Canadian Premier League in SCCL after qualifying through Concacaf League in 2021.

The 2022 SCCL matchups will commence with the Round of 16 between February 15-17 (first leg) and February 22-24 (second leg). As the lower-ranked club, Forge will host the first leg of the Round of 16 at Tim Hortons Field. The Round of 16 will be followed by quarterfinal matches in March, semifinals in April, and the finals home and away legs to be split between April and May.

Round of 16: February 15-17 (first legs) and February 22-24 (second legs)

Quarterfinals: March 8-10 (first legs) and March 15-17 (second legs)

Semifinals: April 5-7 (first legs) and April 12-14 (second legs)

Finals: April 26-28 (first leg) and May 3-5 (second leg)
