
Force Set For First Sunday Home Game

CLEVELAND, OHIO- The Cleveland Force will play its second game of a five game home stand this Sunday afternoon February 2nd as the they play host to the Kansas City Comets. The game is scheduled to start at 3:05 p.m.
The game is also Kraft Foods Night with a mascot game at halftime. The Kraft Foods mascots team of Sugar Bear, Kool-Aid Man, Mr. Peanut, Oreo-Man, Fred Flintstone and others will take on a Celebrity mascot team comprised of Slider from the Cleveland Indians, SlapShark from the Cleveland Barons, Orbit from the Akron Aeros, Scrappy from the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, the Reserve Square Gorilla and Scholastic Book Fair's Clifford the Big Red Dog.
Kansas City leads the season series two games to one. The Comets won the last two meetings with the first victory ending Cleveland's undefeated record at home on December 28th. The Force won its lone game in the season series back on November 30th.
Cleveland comes into the game after defeating the San Diego Sockers 15-10 on Friday night. The Force is 7-5 versus Western Conference opponents and is 8-2 at home.
Kansas City comes into the game on a three-game losing streak after dropping both their games last weekend. The Comets did not have a game until this afternoon's contest. Kansas City fell to the Baltimore Blast 15-7 last Friday night and then dropped a 13-8 decision to the Philadelphia KiXX the following night.
