
Force Re-Signs Setter Flynn

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH., OCTOBER 16, 2002_ The Grand Rapids Force, a member of United States Professional Volleyball (USPV) today announced the signing of setter Jen Flynn.
Flynn (Pittsburgh, Pa., The Ohio State University) averaged 9.4 assists per game last season for Grand Rapids and led USPV in double-doubles with 11. Flynn also averaged 2.6 digs per game.
This past off-season Flynn was the starting setter on the U.S. Women's National Team that took second in the recent World Championships in Germany. Flynn was ranked as one of the top 10 setters in the world.
While at Ohio State, Flynn led the Buckeyes to four straight NCAA postseason appearances.
The Force's first home match will take place January 25, 2003 at the DeltaPlex.
