
Force Goalie Earns MISL Honor

CLEVELAND, OHIO- Cleveland Force goalkeeper Jim Larkin has been named the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Defensive Player of the Week for the seven-day period ending October 20. Larkin receives the award after leading the Force to a 10-8 victory over San Diego on October 18.
Larkin, who turns 27 on Wednesday, stopped 16 of 20 shots faced (.800 save percentage) while allowing just four goals in the win.
Larkin leads the MISL in saves with 58 while ranking third in save percentage at .734. He is also tied for third in wins with two and ranks fourth in minutes played with 236.
In the game with San Diego, Larkin recorded his 1,000th career save when he stopped his 10th shot of the game.
The Force returns to action this Friday, October 25th as they travel to San Diego, California to face the San Diego Sockers in a MISL game at the San Diego Sports Arena. The game is slated for a 10:05 Eastern Standard Time start.
