Force forward/defender selected in draft

CLEVELAND, OHIO- The Cleveland Force had one player selected from its active roster during the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Expansion Draft that allocated players to the Chicago Storm. Chicago was able to select a maximum of 16 players from the nine current MISL team's rosters.

Forward/Defender Hector Marinaro was the lone player selected by the Storm from the Cleveland roster. Chicago selected Marinaro with the 16th and final selection in the draft.

Marinaro, who completed his 19th year of indoor soccer and his 16th with the Cleveland franchise, is indoor soccer's all-time leader in goals scored with 1,223 and points with 2,787. Hector recorded 22 goals and added 16 assists for a team-high tying 38 points last season. Marinaro is a 16 time All-Star selection and a six-time league Most Valuable Player.
