CLEVELAND, OHIO - The Cleveland Force will play host to the defending Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Champion Baltimore Blast on Saturday, January 3 in an Eastern Conference clash at the Convocation Center at Cleveland State University.

The game will mark the third of six meetings between the Force and the Blast this season. Baltimore won the previous two meetings, including a 10-7 decision on November 28th at the Convo. Cleveland leads the all-time series 63-62 and has a mark of 39-23 at home.

The Force enters the match up with a record of 4-9 overall, 0-4 versus Eastern Division opponents and 2-4 at the Convocation Center. Cleveland fell to the St. Louis Steamers 3-2 in overtime on Tuesday night at the Family Arena. Cleveland currently sits in third place in the Eastern Division trailing the Blast by 4.5 games for second and the Philadelphia KiXX by five games for first.

Baltimore plays the Central Division Kansas City Comets tonight at the Kemper Arena. The Blast enters the game with the Comets with a record of 9-5 overall, 3-2 versus Eastern Division opponents and 2-3 on the road.

Forward Adauto Neto leads the Force with five points in the two games this season. Neto, who will miss Saturday's game after having knee surgery, has recorded four goals and added one assist. Forward Lee Edgerton is second on the team with four points on two goals and two assists in the season series.

Baltimore is led by forward Carlos "Chile" Farias with six points on two goals and four assists in the two games. Defender Danny Kelly and forward Denison Cabral have each contributed five points in the season series.
