Fargo Force News Release

The Force are one of the hottest teams in the USHL and look to continue that trend this weekend at home against the Omaha Lancers. The Force are just two points behind the Lancers and a sweep would put the Force in sole possesion of first place in the west. These two teams have faced each other twice this season and the Force have been victorious on both occasions. The Fargo Force have earned a standing's point in 16 straight games (13-0-3).

Both weekend victories last weekend came on the road and the team is now tied for the USHL lead with 14 road victories, surpassing their total of 13 last season.

Fargo scored a season best nine goals in their victory against Tri-City on Friday as 16 different skaters recorded a point.

Defenseman Marek Hrbas scored the game-winner and now has five points (1g, 4a) over his last three games.

Nate Condon netted a pair of goals and leads the team with 18 on the season.

Nick Oliver scored the winner with just 45 seconds remaining in the third period during Saturday's 2-1 victory vs. Lincoln.

Two of the three goals for Oliver this season have been game-winners.

Chase Grant netted a goal in both weekend victories and now has 17 for the season.

Ryan Massa was also named USHL Goaltender of the Week for his performance on the road last weekend.
