
Fog Devils Ilia Ejov Named the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week

Toronto - The Canadian Hockey League today announced that St. John's Fog Devils goaltender Ilia Ejov is the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week for the week ending Sunday December 4 after posting three wins in three games last week. This is the first time in the history of the new franchise that the Fog Devils have received such an honour.
Ejov, an 18-year-old native of Krasnoda, Russia, went 3-0 for the week with wins over their expansion cousins the Saint John Sea Dogs and on back to back nights against the Halifax Mooseheads. During the three games he posted a 2.33 goals-against-average as well as a .922 save percentage while facing an average of 30 shots per game.
Each week during the regular season, the CHL will recognize the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week and will present the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Year Award to the CHL's top netminder at the conclusion of the 2005-06 season.
