Flying Tigers Return Home Friday for 8-Game Homestand

Lakeland, FL - The Lakeland Flying Tigers return home for an eight-game homestand beginning Friday, May 17 at Joker Marchant Stadium. Lakeland will host the Daytona Cubs May 17-19 and the Ft. Myers Miracle May 20-23. Tickets for all home games are available by calling the Flying Tigers at (863) 686-8075. Box seats are $6 and reserved seats are $5 and seniors 55 and over and children 14 and under receive a $1.00 discount. Saturday tickets are an additional $1. Wednesday All-You-Can-Eat tickets are $10. Monday tickets are $1.

Camo T-Shirt Giveaway

The Flying Tigers will be giving away camo T-shirts to the first 350 paid adults ages 15 and older that enter the stadium.

Pre-Game

- Tattoo and balloon artists from Twisted Artz will be in the main concourse beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Scott Lake Elementary Spirit Night

Scott Lake Elementary students, teachers and parents will be participating in fun promotions throughout the game.

Mental Health Matters Night

Area organizations will be on hand to educate fans on the ways to deal with and cope with mental health disorders.

TGI Fridays Flying Tigers Mug Club Night #4

All fans 21 and older will receive a special Mug Club flier from TGI Fridays. The first 100 fans 21 and older that bring the flier to Fridays after the game will receive a special Fridays/Flying Tigers mug, compliments of Fridays. Fridays is the official "After Party" location of the Flying Tigers for all Friday night home games. Fridays is located at 4204 Highway 98 North in Lakeland.

Armed Forces Day Celebration

The Flying Tigers will be honoring current and retired members of the military for their service to the country. Veterans and current military personnel will also receive FREE admission. There will be a special JROTC Pass and Review celebration on the field prior to the game and a special swearing in ceremony for new recruits.

Tiger Trot 5K

The Flying Tigers annual Tiger Trot 5K will take place on Saturday, May 18 at Joker Marchant Stadium. The race will begin at 8:00 am with registration and packet pickup beginning at 7:00 am. Trophies will be awarded to the Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female as well as age group winners. 5K entry fee is $30 and includes race t-shirt (while supplies last) and a special dog tag. The Tiger Trot benefits the Detroit Tigers Foundation of Florida, Our Childrens Academy & Rehab and The Ledger's Newspaper in Education Program. To register please visit LakelandFlyingTigers.com.

North Lakeland Little League Team Party

The Flying Tigers will be hosting North Lakeland Little League's team parties before and during the game. Each team will parade on the field prior to the game.

Kids Day

- All kids 14 and under will receive free admission to the game.

- Kids can play catch on the field beginning at noon (weather permitting).

- Kids can also run the bases just like the Flying Tigers following the game (weather permitting).

- All fans will receive a voucher for a free sundae, compliments of Dairy Queen - North Lakeland.

- FUEL Church Band will be playing a pre-game concert beginning at 5:30 PM.

participate in on-field promotions as well as special game announcers. Tickets to the game and lunch are provided by Publix Super Market Charities, LEGOLAND Florida the Detroit Tigers Foundation of Florida and Lakeland Sportservice.

Wednesday is All-You-Can-Eat Night sponsored by Abuelo's. Tickets are just $10 and includes admission to the game and all-you-can-eat hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, Little Caesars pizza, peanuts, popcorn, pretzels and chips as well as food from Abuelo's from 5:30-8:30 p.m. or while supplies last.

2-1 Beer Night & Frozen Drinks Sponsored by Miller Lite

Fans can enjoy 2 for 1 draft beer & frozen drinks and $1 soda every Thursday home game. Alcohol sales will begin at 5:30 p.m. and end at the conclusion of the 7th inning.

Boots 4 Books Chili Cook-off

Area fire departments will compete amongst each other to be named as the best chili in town. This year each fire department will prepare their own batch of chili, serve it to fans from 5:30 - 7 PM on the concourse. Fans are encouraged to vote on their favorite chili and trophies will be presented in two categories; Best Overall and Fans Choice. There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place award given in each category. Proceeds from this year's event will benefit READ Polk and area literacy programs. Tickets are only $10 and includes your game tickets and entrance into the chili cook-off. There will be live entertainment, during the cook off and as always our 2-4-1 draft beer special.
