FORT WORTH, Texas, November 10, 2006 - Center Deji Akindele, guard/forward Kelenna Azubuike, center Luke Schenscher and forward Anthony Terrell, all key contributors to the Fort Worth Flyers regular season title run in 2005-06, highlight head coach Sidney Moncrief's roster as 2006-07 training camp gets underway this weekend.
"All of these players are proven winners, and it is good to have players with a strong record of success be part of our team," said Moncrief, who begins his first season at the helm of the Flyers.
A 7-1, 240 pound center who played at Chicago State, Akindele was the team's fourth round draft choice (27th overall) in the 2005 D-League Draft. Akindele appeared in 43 games for the Flyers and averaged 8.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 20 minutes per game.

The 6-5, 220 pound swingman was an honorable mention selection for the 2005-06 All-NBA Development League Team and earned an invitation to the 2006 Houston Rockets training camp.
The team's second selection (11th overall) in the 2005 D-League Draft, Schenscher played in 36 games (34 starts) and averaged 8.2 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. The 7-1 center became the first player in franchise history to earn a Gatorade Call-Up when the Chicago Bulls signed him on March 5, 2006.
Schenscher appeared in 20 regular season contests with the Bulls, averaging 1.8 points and 1.5 rebounds in 7.5 minutes per game. He also saw action in three games during Chicago's first round postseason matchup with the Miami Heat, averaging 2.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 5.7 minutes in the six-game series.
