FORT WORTH, Texas, December 13, 2006 - Flyers head Coach Sidney Moncrief and select Flyers players, dancers and staff members will help make the holidays a little brighter for thousands of Tarrant County youth by assisting volunteers from the City of Fort Worth Cowboy Santas Toy Program in handing out toys to families in need. The Flyers will be on hand Thursday, December 14 at 3 p.m. to help tip off the first day of toy distribution at the Will Rogers Memorial Center poultry barn.

"The Cowboy Santas Toy Program is an incredible program that touches many lives, and this is our opportunity to help them in their efforts to assist those in need during this holiday season," said Flyers team president Ken Nicholson.

Administered through the City of Fort Worth Parks and Community Services Department since the early 1990s, the Cowboy Santas Toy Program has been in existence for over 25 years. The Flyers will continue to collect new, unwrapped toys for the program through the team's game on December 19.

The next Fort Worth Flyers home game is Friday, December 15 versus the Tulsa 66ers at 7 p.m. at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The team will celebrate Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl/Military Appreciation Night to honor the service of those in uniform.
