
Flyers Sign Two Former Major Leaguers: Ben Johnson & Andrew Lorraine

Fullerton CA - The OC Flyers added a couple of former major leaguers to their roster that has what might be the most former major leaguers on it in the GBL. Outfielder Ben Johnson was signed to a contract and started in Center Field for the Flyers in the game against the Yuma Scorpions. And they also added starting pitcher Andrew Lorraine who is scheduled to start this weekend.
The Flyers already have Damian Jackson (Padres, Red Sox, Nationals), Robert Fick (Padres, Nationals), Adam Johnson (Twins) on the roster.
This puts the Flyers at five former players with Major League service. The Flyers also had Brian Lawrence (Padres) for one start before he had his contract purchased by the San Diego Padres.
The Flyers are making a run at clinching the 2nd half championship with 21 games remaining.
