Flyers Recall Seven From Adirondack Phantoms

The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have recalled goaltender Jeremy Duchesne, forwards Jon Kalinski, David Laliberte and Andreas Nodl, and defensemen Joonas Lehtivuori, Kevin Marshall and Danny Syvret from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms, according to club General Manager Paul Holmgren.
Duchesne, 23, appeared in five games with Adirondack this season, posting a 1-4-0 record with a 2.97 goals-against average and .898 save percentage. This is his third recall to the Flyers after he was originally recalled by Philadelphia on Mar. 17. He dressed, but did not play in four games (Mar. 18-23), serving as back up for goaltender Brian Boucher and made his NHL debut on Apr. 1 at NY Islanders, where he made three saves in 17 minutes of play.
A native of Silver Spring, Md., Duchesne was originally selected by the Flyers in the fourth round (119th overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
Kalinski, 22, had 28 points (10G,18A) in 69 games with the Phantoms this past season. He was originally recalled by the Flyers on Nov. 28 and recorded two assists in 10 games before he was loaned to Adirondack on Dec. 18. Over the past two seasons with the Flyers, Kalinski has five points (1G,4A) in 22 games.
A native of Bonnyville, Alberta, Kalinski was selected by the Flyers in the sixth round (152nd overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He signed an entry-level contract with the Flyers on March 30, 2008.
Laliberte, 24, recorded 46 points (18G,28A) in 66 games with Adirondack this season. He finished tied for second on the Phantoms in points (46), third in goals (18) and fourth in assists (28). He also has two goals and three points in 11 games with the Flyers after he made his NHL debut on Oct. 31 vs. Carolina Hurricanes, where he recorded a goal and an assist.
A native of St-Liboire, Quebec, Laliberte was originally selected by the Flyers in the fourth round (124th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and signed a three-year entry level contract with the Flyers on May 17, 2007.
Nodl, 23, finished the 2009-10 season with 34 points (14G,20A) in 65 games, and recorded one assist in 10 games with the Flyers. Over parts of two seasons with the Flyers, he has accumulated five points (1G,4A) in 48 regular season games.
A native of Vienna, Austria, Nodl was originally selected by the Flyers in the second round (39th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft and signed an entry level contract with the Flyers on Apr. 4, 2008.
Lehtivuori, 21, recorded 23 points (5G,18A) and 18 penalty minutes in 66 games with Adirondack this season. His 18 assists and 23 points tied for the team lead among defensemen. Lehtivuori also appeared in one preseason game with the Flyers this past year on Sept. 16 at Detroit.
A native of Tampere, Finland, Lehtivuori was originally selected by the Flyers in the fourth round (101st overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
Marshall, 21, recorded nine points (2G,7A) and 80 penalty minutes in 79 games with Adirondack this year, his first professional season.
A native of Boucherville, Quebec, Marshall was originally selected by the Flyers in the second round (41st overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He signed an entry level contract with the Flyers on July 22, 2008.
Syvret, 24, posted 13 points (5G,8A) and six penalty minutes in 15 games with Adirondack in 2009-10. He also registered four points (2G,2A) and 12 penalty minutes in 21 games with the Flyers this season, including his first NHL goal on Jan. 1 at the Bridgestone/NHL Winter Classic at Fenway Park in Boston.
A native of Millgrove, Ontario, Syvret was originally drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the third round (81st overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. He was acquired by the Flyers from Edmonton in exchange for Ryan Potulny on June 6, 2008 and recently signed a one-year contract with the Flyers on Aug. 11, 2009.
