
Flyers Pound Out Win

Orange County Flyers News Release
The Orange County Flyers slugged out 16 runs on 18 hits and punished the St. George Roadrunners 16-7 at Bruce Hurst Field.
With the win, the Flyers moved to 10-9 and back above .500. They are 6-1 against St. George on the season.
The Flyers received some early offense from Peanut Williams who crushed his 7th homerun of the season, a three-run shot in the 1st inning.
1B Scott Goodman led the assault through the middle innings with a long two-run homerun, his team leading 10th homerun.
Rich Pohle also drove in three runs for the Flyers and Buddy Morales continued his hot streak with a four hit night.
Reed Dickert peresevered through five innings to earn his 5th win.
The Flyers will look for more run support behind ace Ben Fox Tuesday night at 6:15 p.m. pacific time on KWRM 1370 AM and orangecountyflyers.com.
