Flyers offer ticket deal

We are on the road for three games in Yuma this week, but come home on Friday to host the Reno Silver Sox (first half champions - we just beat them three straight times this past weekend). On Monday (8/7), Jose Canseco and the Long Beach Armada come to town for four games. The Flyers have won 5 straight games, and we are 3 games out of first place behind the Chico Outlaws. Seven of the 9 players last night in our line-up are hitting over .300, and the only two that are under .300 (.288 and .298) were both on the all-star team this season.

Our pitching and defense have been stellar this past week, as well. In the last 39 innings, our pitchers have only walked 1 batter, and each of our five starting pitchers has pitched into the 6th inning or later. All season long we either had good hitting, good pitching, or good defense, but rarely on the same night! Over the last 5 games, we have put them all together, and with 26 games left this season, we plan to continue to do so.

We have created thousands of 2-for-1 vouchers, and have given them to several of our sponsors, season ticket holders, and friends. Is there any chance we could deliver several hundred, or thousand, to you to give to all of your employees, customers, neighbors, friends, civic groups, etc?? We can put "Courtesy of YOUR NAME HERE" on the face of the vouchers, so you can give them away, as well, and make it a marketing campaign. We are doing everything we can to fill the stadium for the guys for the last 13 home games! They are playing well, and we want to see them playing well in front of 2,000 - 3,000 people every night! If we can win the 2nd half, we will get to host at least two of the GBL play-off games at Goodwin Field at the end of the season. Let's give our guys the "Home field advantage" and create the 10th man in the stands for them!!
