Fluor Field to Showcase Top High School Programs
March 25, 2016 - South Atlantic League (SAL1)
Greenville Drive News Release
Greenville, SC - As the Greenville Drive season nears, Fluor Field will play host to some of the Upstate's top high school programs while welcoming a quality out-of-state program to Downtown Greenville as well.
On Wednesday, March 30th at 7:00 PM, the Christ Church Cavaliers will take on the Findlay Trojans out of Ohio. The action continues on Wednesday, April 6th with an Upstate rivalry as the Greenville Red Raiders will play the J.L. Mann Patriots, who are currently ranked 20th in the nation by USA Today and 21st by Perfect Game USA, at 7:00 PM.
"Spring has officially arrived, and we couldn't be happier to host these quality baseball programs at Fluor Field," noted Drive General Manager Eric Jarinko. "Christ Church has played at the home of the Drive several times in recent years, and Findlay is a newcomer to Downtown Greenville. Both have winning traditions, and we're excited to host their contest on March 30th."
Jarinko added, "Hosting an Upstate rivalry on April 6th will bring a lot of energy to Fluor Field, especially with J.L. Mann being nationally-ranked and Greenville holding its Spirit Week. These two programs annually send players to the highest levels of college baseball, and we're happy to bring them back in as we prepare for our own baseball season in Downtown Greenville."
General admission tickets are now available for both games, with tickets for the Christ Church-Findlay game costing $5 and tickets for Greenville-J.L. Mann costing $7. Concessions and merchandise will be available during each game.
